The first I saw of this nudbranch was a photograph that my daughter took during a dive trip to Redang, Malaysia in 2009, while I was sitting a dive out due to ear problems.
I was fortunate enough to find this example at Bonita Island, in Batangas Channel, Philippines in 2010.
