Chromodoris quadricolor

Probably the most common nudibranch in the Red Sea, certainly around Jeddah at any rate, however it is easily confused with Chromodoris africana as I have discovered in the past few years.

The above photograph was taken in the Gulf of Aqaba, Jordan, using a Nikon D300 with 85mm lens

This next example was photographed using a Nikon D70 with 60mm lens off the Al Bilad beach, North Obhur, Jeddah.
